DIALOGUE

After we know,about Discussion (deffinition,requirement and pattern).In this post,we study about how to make dialogue with other people.

DEFINITIONS

* Dialogue in etymologically is composed of two words from the Greek berasl διά (him) which means a stone path ways and λόγος (logos) which means that the dialogue can be interpreted as human in a way to use a word.

* Thought David Bohm (1917-1992), a physicist who developed a theory based on the communication of quantum theory and relativity theory, should be considered. According to him, dialogue do not like discussion. In fact, contrary to the discussion of dialogue that has a tendency toward a particular goal, to reach an agreement, to solve problems or win one opinion. Dialogue is not a technique to solve a problem or a means of conflict resolution.

* Dialogue can also be interpreted As with a reciprocal conversation between two people or more.

* Hans-Georg Gadamer described the dialogue as the two parties to understand each other where each person opens himself to accept the way other people view as being worthy of consideration. (Gadamer 1979:347)

* Dialogue was declared the thinking process and change ways of thinking into the process of collective thinking. In the process of dialogue when other orag say something, others listen and respond stating that he agreed with the previous one.

DESCRIPTION DIALOGUE

1. Many people are stuck on leveling dialogue and discussion. Even worse, despite the title of dialogue, it is the debate, both public debate and the internal debate within ourself.For Bohm, dialogue is reveal the purpose of incoherence in our thinking. By doing that, it is possible to find or rebuild a collective consciousness of original and creative. Dialogue process is the process of awareness.

In the dialogue, a group of people can explore the prejudices (apriori, pre-Judgments) that subtly controls a communication process. Prejudice (ideas, beliefs, feelings),this is what actually plays an important role in determine a success or a failure of communication. Dialogue thus becomes

observation means collectively to uncover the values and intentions hidden control our behavior. In the words of Bohm, dialogue is a arena where the 'collective learning' occurs that gives rise to feelings of harmony, friendship and creativity.

Because of natural conditions that exploratory dialogue, then according to Bohm, there is no one

methods and rules remain the standard to set as the basis of dialogue. For Bohm, dialogue is the essence of learning, ".... Not as the result of (consuming a body of information or doctrine imparted by an authority, nor as a means of Examining or criticising a particular theory or program, but rather as part of unfolding process of creative participation between peers ".

In Bohm's thinking, the heaviest burden in starting the dialogue is to know thoughts, impulses and prejudices existing within us. Therefore, in addition to listen to others, it is no less important in the dialogue is listen to ourselves (according to Bohm, listening is as important as speaking). In this process we must bring to the surface of all reactions, encouragement, feelings and opinions so that these things can be seen and felt and also reflected by others. By paying attention to the encouragement and  This feeling was so strong during subconsciously  determine how we see and behave toward others is a feeling that, like a thief, would feel embarrassed.

If this stage is achieved, then we will be able to see more meaning in which lies in our thinking process and feel the structure not coherent from each of our actions that we've always done automatically. If every group of people that dialogue can reveal any prejudice which hidden the whole process flow of thoughts, the feelings,  can reveal something deeper, more subtle meanings, which leads to a new coherence, or in terms of Bohm, collective intelligence.

Technically, Bohm suggested that participants in the dialogue process between 20 to 40 people who sat facing each other with each other in a circle. As for the length of dialogue, Bohm saw two-hour duration is limit. If the dialogue is too long, there will be at risk of boredom resulting in a decrease in the quality of dialogue. 2. The relationship of dialogue has a natural feature, it can reduce and complete the logic,not only in terms of grammar. They also can discuss the variation subject.  there are no language or words - words that they do not understand. (source: Philosophical, theological, and social concept of wikipedia)

I have a simple philosophy :

Fill what's empty. 

Empty what's full.
